Rakesh Kasba is a pioneering social entrepreneur and technologist transforming the sanitation sector. With over three decades of experience in government and senior private-sector roles, he develops technologies enabling sanitation workers to operate safely, with dignity, and sustainable livelihoods. A 1985 Civil Engineering graduate from NIT Srinagar, Rakesh has expertise in hydro power projects, water resource engineering, and sediment management. Complemented by an MBA and a Postgraduate degree in Finance and Project Management, he founded a company dedicated to eradicating manual scavenging, championing equality, social justice, and ethical, innovative sanitation solutions for communities worldwide.
