Maria Laws brings a wealth of expertise in K12, university, and adult learning to drive innovation in AI tools supporting L&D for the global workforce. As Vice PresIdent of Learning & Design at Ahura AI, she designs AI-centered learning innovations that drive positive change for communities and learners worldwIde.


Maria contributes to research at Stanford University's Women's Leadership Innovation Lab and serves as the Lead Strategist for A4AI, an international non-profit focused on developing the next generation of Black AI leaders. She has led research and L&D initiatives at Lockheed Martin, Genentech, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Harvard. Additionally, she has served as a K12 teacher and professor at UC Berkeley, bringing a unique perspective to her work in AI and education. Maria is committed to leveraging technology to create equitable learning opportunities for all.
