Gajanan Bhat is a Consultant Urologist, Andrologist, and Sexologist at PG Hospital and TSS Shripad Hegde Kadave Institute of Medical Sciences, Sirsi, India. A pioneer in sexual medicine, he developed the world’s first tools to measure ejaculatory control and non-penovaginal latencies and created a reversible, non-hormonal oral contraceptive for men. His research has earned international honors, including the ISSM Best Abstract Prize (2023) and Female Sexual Dysfunction Prize (2021). He has authored numerous publications, contributed to global consultations, led ISSM-funded initiatives, and is a passionate educator, advancing sexual medicine and patient care with compassion.
