He developed innovative streaming and remote direction tools used in Netflix’s History of Swear Words, Aveno advertising campaigns, and Weight Watchers’ award-winning virtual studio interface.

Dr. Allen's career includes covering global events such as the Olympics, Greece’s bicentennial celebration, and protests in Hong Kong. An early pioneer in live streaming, he built one of North America’s first end-to-end systems for the University of Alaska, with innovations now implemented in world-class AV systems worldwide.
