Dr. Teresa Castiello is an accomplished cardiologist, entrepreneur, and women’s advocate, blending her passion for healthcare with leadership in innovation. Born in Rome, she earned her medical degree from La Sapienza University in 2001 and developed expertise in heart failure and cardiomyopathy. Her career includes humanitarian missions in Sudan and Kenya, and two fellowships in London, where she now serves as Lead Consultant with the UK National Health Service.
Dr. Castiello is the first woman to serve as Cardiology PresIdent at the Royal Society of Medicine and has contributed to several international cardiovascular committees.
