Dr. Ahmed A. Abusham earned his MSc in Clinical Pharmacy in 2000 from the University of Derby (UK) and his PhD in 2010 from Omdurman University (Sudan). He teaches clinical courses, including applied therapeutics for pharmacy/medical students and advanced clinical chemistry for pharmacy students.

Dr. Abusham has served on numerous hospital committees and staff development programs. He mentors students as an instructor, advisor, and supervisor, with extensive published research in hematology, infectious diseases, and education. He also manages a ‘Pharmacy Skills’ virtual laboratory.

His dedication to student success stems from his experience in tertiary care teaching hospitals. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy and Assistant Dean for Training and Societal Service at the University of Nizwa, Oman.
