Ashutosh Singh, Founder and Representative Director of Patanjali Japan Foundation, is committed to promoting yoga and Ayurveda across Japan. Guided by the vision of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev ji Maharaj, he has dedicated his life to integrating these ancient practices into modern lifestyles for better health and wellbeing.
He has over 25 years of yoga practice and a mission to reduce stress, depression, and suicide in Japanese society through holistic wellness. Over the past eight years, he has conducted 300 awareness programs across 50 locations, often in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Japan and local governments.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he conducted daily online yoga sessions for over 1000 days, focusing on stress management and productivity. His efforts reached thousands and helped communities maintain physical and mental balance in challenging times.
As Joint Secretary of the World Yogasana Sports Federation, he is actively working to establish yogasana as a recognized global sport, envisioning its inclusion in the Asian Games and Olympics. He also mentors yoga teachers and oversees certification examinations for the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of Bharat (India), ensuring authenticity in yoga education across Japan.
