Dr. Wijdan Mubarak Alomaim is a distinguished academic and expert in Radiography and Medical Imaging, bringing over 15 years of experience across education, clinical practice, and research. She currently serves as Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of the Radiography Department at Fatima College of Health Sciences in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Alomaim holds a Ph.D. in Radiography with a specialization in Breast Imaging from University College Dublin, Ireland, where she also earned an MSc in Mammography and a Certificate of Higher Education in Mammography. Her academic foundation was established with a BSc in Radiological Science from King Saud University in Riyadh.
Her career is a testament to the integration of academic excellence and clinical expertise. Her research interests include breast density, breast cancer, radiographic image reporting, artificial intelligence in medical imaging, and eye-tracking technology to enhance diagnostic precision.
