Dr. Shalin Maheshwari a Docpreneur (Doctor + Entrepreneur) is a trained Orthopedic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience and an expert in joint Preservation. He has over 50 chapters in textbooks and over 80 publications in peer reviewed international journals. He has trained extensively in India and abroad in joint preserving surgeries and served as teaching faculty in Govt College in Jamnagar.
Dr. Maheshwari is also a founder of a startup called MERAQUI. It is a tech-first platform offering WaaS (Workforce as a Service), specializing in hiring, managing, upskilling and other value-added services pertaining to the holistic lifecycle management of the blue and grey collared workers in the country. The brand thought pertains to usage of proprietary AI technology in an otherwise non-tech focused and highly fragmented market of small operators servicing only a specific activity of lifecycle management of workforce.
Under Dr. Maheshwari's leadership Meraqui has been instrumental in providing job opportunities to over 3 Lakh candidates across 30+ Industry verticals in 27 states and 300 pin codes in India through its tech platform. Meraqui is part of coveted 1% startups in the country to have been Income tax exempt startup by Govt. of India, awarded SME Champion of India 2024 by CNBC and Ernst & Young, one of only eight INDICORNS to reach ₹100 crore+ and profitability in under five years. It has been featured in Forbes India DGEMS and recognised by CII for HRtech innovation.
