Debabrata Sarkar a TEDx speaker and an accomplished C level executive having e than 27 years of experience in the International Agriculture sector. He is one of most influential leader in bio Ag sector today and featured in TIME, Forbes, Fortune, Outlook, Business World, Week, India Today, and Economic times multiple times. He is an agriculture Graduate and IIM Kolkata alumni with exposure of heading strategic business unit for Leading Global Companies, having global experience in P&L management, augmenting business in Agro-Chemical, Seeds, Biotechnology & Biological industry across Asia Pacific region.
He has held different Leadership roles in Monsanto, Chemtura, Syngenta, at present he is the CMD for MicroAlgae Solutions india Pvt Ltd ( Subsidiary of AlgaEnergy Spain), Director for AGMA Energy and also acting as President -APAC for AE Biologicals. Most recently in January 25 he appeared in TIME & Fortune India and back in June 2024 he featured in Forbes, and Business world and received multiple Awards for his leadership role for sustainable Agriculture, notably in April 2022, April 2023 and December 2024. He won The Best Bio Ag CEO Award back to back for 3 years. On 2nd October 2024, he was facilitated at OXFORD Union of Oxford University as Global Indian. Most recently he has received the CEO of the Year from Forttuna Global Excellence Awards on 9th May 2025 in Mumbai.
