Christine Colburn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with a passion for helping children and adolescents heal from trauma and adversity. Known for her authenticity, strength, and unwavering commitment, Christine has dedicated her career to being a voice for the voiceless, specializing in trauma-informed care for youth ages 3–17.
Christine's journey into the mental health field began at age 29, when she returned to school with a clear purpose. She completed a fast-track undergraduate program in just three years, then transitioned directly into a graduate program in Mental Health Counseling. Drawing on both lived experience and professional training, she developed a compassionate and client-centered approach that has transformed countless young lives.
Her impact has earned her widespread recognition. In 2024, she received the prestigious Forttuna Award for Children Advocacy & Therapy Leader of the Year, celebrating her outstanding dedication to child welfare. She was also recognized among Top Health Care Professionals and was inducted into Marquis Who's Who in America, highlighting her impact in clinical practice and community outreach. In 2023, she was honored with the Global Game Changer Award for her innovative and heart-centered contributions to mental health.
Christine also earned the Outstanding Leadership Award at the Health 2.0 Conference in 2023, where she shared her powerful insights on trauma recovery, child advocacy, and the importance of ethical leadership in behavioral health.
