Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, an accomplished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, served for over 35 years across Bihar and Jharkhand, demonstrating exemplary leadership in governance and development. After initially joining the Merchant Navy and briefly working with Indian Railways, he transitioned to the IAS, where he overcame numerous challenges through transparency, hard work, and discipline.

Dr. Singh played a pivotal role in establishing state public sector undertakings, promoting governance initiatives, and implementing policies in sectors such as urban development, agriculture, and tourism. Notably, he resolved a 400-year-old communal issue in Nalanda, ensuring lasting peace, and led Jharkhand to win several national awards. His leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic was recognized nationwide.
