Martina is the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bahrain and a pioneering entrepreneur in the global motorsport and manufacturing industries. After studying Economics in Kortrijk, she founded her first company in 1991, acquiring the Bell Auto Racing Helmets brand in 1999. As CEO, Martina led Bell to become the world’s number one racing helmet brand, working with champions like Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, and Kimi Raikkonen. Recognized for her leadership, she was awarded Belgium’s prestigious KBC Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. Following the sale of her Bell Group shares in 2020, she founded Kikashi, a consulting and management firm, and later co-founded The Caralium Project- a Bahrain- and Morocco-based composite manufacturing venture dedicated to high-performance sporting goods.
